USES FOR THE BAREBACK CONVERTER!

Protection for the horse & rider
Not all horses have arm chair backs – some have high withers! Ouch!

Using the bareback converter with your own saddle pad will give added protection and comfort for both of you.

Note- Alycia personally uses a sheepskin lined saddle blanket- the same one she uses with her saddle 🙂

Learning to ride bareback
Learning to ride bareback can be tricky and very slippery! Using the bareback converter with your own saddle blanket gives a lot of extra grip while still allowing you to feel super close to your horse

Trail Riding
Perfect for longer distance riding, those up & down hills and tricky situations when you could possibly end sliding off or either of you getting sore.

Starting horses under saddle
Alycia uses the bareback converter with a saddle blanket before she puts a saddle on a horse. This is a kind way to let the horse get use to pressure, it is light weight, the horse can roll with it on without getting hurt or stuck and the rider can lay over the horse without any restrictions.

Jumping Bareback
Jumping bareback can be tricky! This is a perfect way for the rider to not only have more grip on the horses back but also gives protection for both the horse and rider.

Equine Therapy
Many riders who go to Equine Therapy are physically unable to sit in a saddle for safety reasons. There is huge benefit physically, mentally & for safety being able to feel the horse closely. Using the bareback converter with a sheepskin offers a safe & comfortable solution for therapy horses & their riders.

Just what I was looking for! This allows me to use a variety of fleece padded saddle pads as a bareback pad and I use it with a synthetic total saddle fit shoulder relief short girth. I actually love this setup I have more than my ThinLine bareback pad, and that says something as I love that one as well.
